The event features fun and interactive activities like cookie decorating, face painting, the Easter bunny hop, cooking demonstrations and much more. This event is located less than 10 minutes away for neighbouring residents of Kensington, Hillhurst and Sunnyside. Event takes place from 9:00am to 3:00pm on April 18/19 and is free with regular zoo admission. You can learn more about the Easter Eggstravaganza by checking out the event posting on the Calgary Zoo’s site.

Easter at the Market

Looking for a little fun and festivities down south? Check out the Easter celebrations at the Calgary Farmers Market on April 18. In addition to the regular activities, Easter at the Market also includes an Easter egg hunt, egg decorating as well as photos with the guest of honour, the Easter bunny himself. Visitors will also have the opportunity to take in some amazing Ukrainian egg painting when Daena Diduck demonstrates the art of Pysanky. National Service Dog Easter Egg Hunt

Have a four legged friend that you’d like to include in your plans? Well we’ve sniffed out an event for you. The National Service Dog Team is hosting a dog friendly Easter egg hunt to help raise funds to improve the lives of their clients and dogs. Participating dogs must follow their nose to find plastic Easter eggs filled with delicious dog treats. Not only is this a fun event for the whole family, but also raises money for a great cause.
