While the Biscuit Block got its name from being home to the Independent Biscuit Co. starting in 1926, the building was actually constructed in 1912 as a warehouse for Neilson Furniture. Until recent years, the building was still used as a furniture warehouse, but now with new owners, there is something new in store for this iconic character building.

Historic buildings with this much character are not common in Calgary; while the city has many interesting condos, lofts, and townhomes available, few of them have this sort of ambiance.
